Syncing your Bookmarks and Favorites from your Browser
Syncing your browser activity allows for you to have access to all your favorites and bookmarks that you have saved in your browser, making the transition to a new laptop that much easier for you!
Please follow the below instructions to ensure a seamless transition for your data:
Chrome
To save your info to your Google Account, turn on sync (you will need a Google Account).
- On your PC, Open Chrome.
- At the top right, click Profile Icon.
- This will open a new page that will prompt you to sign into your Google Account. Please follow the login instructions (username and password).
- You will be prompted to ‘Sync All Info Across All Your Devices’ – Please click ‘Turn On Sync’
When Sync is turned On:
- You can see and update information across all your devices. This includes Bookmarks, Search History, and Passwords.
- You will get all your synced information across all devices, such as a new laptop or desktop.
- You will be signed in automatically to Gmail, YouTube, and all other Google Services.
MS Edge
To sync information for Edge, you will need to sign in with your THS email.
- On your PC, Open Edge.
- Select the profile image in the browser taskbar.
- Select Manage Profile Settings > Sync > Turn On Sync. You will be prompted to sign into your user profile.
- Select Sign In and choose an account or enter your account details (username and password). We recommend using your THS account for this process. Select Continue.
- Select Sync when you are prompted. This will sync your favorites, passwords, and other browsing data across all your devices.
